The footsteps of the flock

The way of the cross is the salvation plan of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Through His death on the cross, He paved a new life path for us. For ages, all saints followed the Lamb of God and walked in this path. They willingly denied themselves, took up their cross daily and constantly called out to His name to be united with Him in death. In doing so they no longer were enslaved by sin and were living freely in Him. They were guided by the Holy Spirit and gradually rid themselves of the old-self and put on the new one. They have set excellent examples for us to follow.

Rise up, let's go! Let us follow the footsteps of the Lamb and the flock to move forward. Be ever more obedient to work out our salvation with fear and trembling! Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life! Hallelujah! “He must become greater; I must become less!” and now “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me!”

Triune God, good shepherd, awakes my spirit,

To follow closely the footsteps of the flock,

Like the branches remain connected to the vine,

Bear abundant fruit of spirit to glorify the name of the Lord.
